Lucia Fenwick
Kia ora, my name is Lucia Fenwick and I am so excited to spend the year 2025 as one of your head prefects. Whilst filling this role I am taking biology, physics, chemistry, English and calculus. I hope to continue my learning at university. I come from a family with six siblings , of which four of us have attended Te Kamo High in the last ten years. There are two more to come. During this time we have witnessed this school change and grow for the better and I want to continue this process on, not only for my younger siblings but for you all individually. I want us to all share beautiful memories from our teenage years which we all spent at this school. Out of the four who have attended I am also the first head prefect, this is a huge achievement for me especially since I can flex I am the favourite. I hope to inspire all of you to work towards your goals even if you aren't competitive throughout this year and to always care for yourselves through doing this. As a vision for Te Kamo High I want to see next year for all you to be participating in your school life, either through your whanau activities or iwi sports. I want this school to be an accepting and loving community. I hope we can all work towards this as a team. I can assure you all that Luke,Taine and myself will put a tremendous amount of effort towards you all and hope to ensure that we do a successful job at leading you guys in the right direction, whilst making this filled with enjoyment.
Thank you for listening and I look forward to working with all of you, if you have any questions feel free to email any members of the leadership team.

Luke Rouse
Kia ora, my name is Luke Rouse, and I am beyond honoured to be one of Te Kamo High School’s Head Prefects for 2025! In the year to be, I will be studying Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, P.E, and Physics. Once I complete Year 13, I’m hoping these subjects will lead me to study at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Before that time comes around though, I am so excited to work alongside my two incredible Co-Head Prefects in continuing to make Te Kamo High School the greatest place it can possibly be for the welfare and interest of all. Throughout my time here at Te Kamo High School, I have been fortunate enough to experience countless opportunities, which I will most certainly cherish for the rest of my life. So, in the year to come, I want to inspire students in making the most out of the opportunities available to them, so that they too are able to grow and develop into the best versions of themselves. One person in my life who has always encouraged me to do so, and still does, is my grandmother, who too was a Prefect. As I am the first person in my family to be a Prefect since she was in the 1950s, I am eager to make her and the rest of my family proud, and leave a long lasting legacy here at school. Out of everything I mentioned, I can assure you that together as a Head Prefect Team, we will do our absolute best to strive for a productive and successful year for all, while ensuring the most optimal outcomes for everyone here at Te Kamo High School.

Taine Middleton
Kia ora, my name is Taine Middleton and I am absolutely thrilled to be one of the head prefects at Te Kura Tuarua o Te Kamo for 2025! I am extremely excited to be able to work with my fellow head prefects Luke and Lucia to have a positive impact on Te Kamo High. I have big shoes to fill, as my mother was a deputy head girl here back when she went to school, and more recently my older brother was head boy in 2022, so I intend to make them proud by continuing their legacy with my appointment next year. In 2025 I will be taking English, Calculus, Physics, Social Psychology, and Music as my five core subjects, and I plan on continuing my learning journey at university after I leave school. I am an outgoing and hard working student, and I will always do my best to get stuck in and participate to make the most of my opportunities and uplift my peers around me. I am passionate about music and you can often find me practising with a band in the arts department. In the head prefect role I aim to build on the foundations that previous head prefect groups have set out to ensure that Te Kamo High maintains a welcoming and engaging environment where all students are able to learn and grow to the best of their abilities. On top of this, as I was an academic prefect in 2024, I would like to continue to support the academic involvement and success of the students in our school by extending them and introducing more opportunities to strive within this sector. I am really looking forward to 2025 and all of the amazing opportunities it may bring.
