Merit and Excellence Endorsements 2016

Congratulations to our senior students in 2016 who gained Merit or Excellence Year Level endorsements or Course Endorsements in the NCEA examinations. 

To gain an NCEA certificate endorsed with Excellence a student must gain at least 50 credits at Excellence at the level of the certificate or higher. 

To gain an NCEA certificate endorsed with Merit a student must gain at least 50 credits at Merit or Excellence at the level of the certificate or higher. 

To gain an endorsement for a course a student needs to achieve in a single school year 14 or more credits at Merit or Excellence where at least 3 of these credits are from externally assessed standards and 3 from internally assessed standards. 

Last year’s Year 13 students are also included in our congratulations but were not available in school for the photo. These students have excelled in their academic endeavours and are clearly well planned, goal oriented and hard-working young people of whom we are all very proud.
