Kamo High School is a bi-cultural school. We are seeking a teachers who are innovative and enthusiastic, understand manaakitanga and whanaungatanga, and have high expectations of their students, in the following subjects:

· English to L2

· Mathematics

· Social Science – History and/or Media Studies at senior level

· L2/L3 Hospitality – teacher and/or tutor who has worked in the industry for at least 2 years and will be Service IQ approved for a Limited Authority to Teach

Experience in KEP, PB4L, multi-level teaching in senior school, and expectation of Whanau teacher. State other subjects and contribution to wider co-curricular school activity.

Dean (fixed-term) / Teacher (permanent)

Kamo High School is a bi-cultural school. We are seeking a teacher who is innovative and enthusiastic, understands manaakitanga and whanaungatanga, has experience in KEP, PB4L and multi-level teaching in senior school, and has high expectations of their students.

We are seeking a suitable teacher to fill a Dean’s position. While the Dean’s position comes under biannual review, the teaching position is permanent – please state subjects and contribution to wider co-curricular school activity.

Learning Support Co-ordinator – full-time or part-time - fixed term 2020

Kamo High School is a bi-cultural, co-ed school. We are seeking a registered teacher with a current teaching practicing certificate, who is innovative and enthusiastic, understands manaakitanga and whanaungatanga, and has high expectations of their students.

The LSC will work to ensure that all learners - including those with disabilities, neurodiversity, behavioural issues and who are gifted - get the help they need. The LSC will focus on:

· Support for students

· Working with teachers/kaiako

· Working parents, family and whānau.

· Working with other LSCs across a cluster of schools/kura – assisted by the MOE Learning Support Facilitator, working within the Learning Support Delivery Model

· Working with the school/kura leadership team to plan support for all learners

The position starts at the beginning of the 2020 school year.
