IMPORTANT START OF YEAR DATES ‐ 2010
Course Confirmation:
All Year 12 and 13 students are required to come to school to confirm their courses on the dates listed below. This is because the external examinations have an impact on course eligibility or because of a change of mind over the summer break.
Year 13 ‐ Tuesday 2 February
• Prefects 9.00am – 9.30am
• Surnames A to M 9.30am – noon – in D3,
• Surnames N to Z 1pm to 3.30pm in D3.
• Year 12 ‐ Wednesday 3 February
• Surnames A to M 9am – noon – in D3,
• Surnames N to Z 1pm to 3.30pm in D3.
Students will need to bring:
• a copy of their 2009 end of year report
• NCEA results slip
If a student is out of the city during these days, they or their caregiver must telephone the school and speak to their Dean. Students who do not confirm their courses cannot be guaranteed the subjects they wish to study.

Wednesday 3 February ‐ 9.00am SHARP ‐ report to the Hall for Assembly
Year 12 Students
Friday 5 February ‐ 8.45am ‐ report to Whanau Class (see list on Hall window)
Year 11 Students
Monday 8 February ‐ 8.45am ‐ report to Whanau Class (see list on Hall window)
Year 10 Students
Monday 8 February ‐ 8.45am ‐ report to Whanau Class (see list on Hall window)
Year 9 Students and all other students new to the school, and their caregivers
Thursday 4 February ‐ at 9.00am ‐ formal welcome and Powhiri in the Gym.
Please assemble in the Arts Centre car park (Gate 5).
Students will continue at school for the remainder of the day.
Normal school bus services will commence on Tuesday 2 February 2010.
The school office is open from Thursday 21 January
